Witbier – Community Beer Company 2.5

Our rating: 2.5

In this week’s episode on Karl Marx, we chose a beer from a company with a mission that we believe he would have been proud of. As we crack open the Community Witbier by Community Beer Company from Dallas, Texas. As a tribute to the savior of the witbier, Pierre Celis, CBP has stuck with the traditional Belgian brewing style that focused heavily on maintaining the flavor of the wheat by not using any more hops than necessary. This doesn’t always lend itself well to the American palate but it holds strong at mid-grade.
