The Euthyphro Dilemma

What is the source of morality?

The question of what is moral has long plagued society. Many people claim morality to be defined by a celestial being. Others claim it has something to do with society. Still others claim it has some sort of objective definition outside of both of those things. And yet, we still find different societies defining moral behaviors differently and deeming different behaviors as moral. Looking at it through theism, we attempt to answer the Euthyphro Dilemma that asks whether something is good because it is loved by God (or gods) or is it loved by God (or gods) because it is good?
