What would you do differently if you were immortal?
With so many stories and legends, all of our God’s, and so much more containing some element of immortality, we’re. Learly enchanted by the idea of this clearly unachievable quality. One of the driving factors of so much human action is our fear of death. We make memorials to the dead and try to build legacies to achieve the closest thing we can to immortality. So with that in mind, this week we take a look at how society and morality would change if humans were immortal. Would morality change more quickly or slowly or not at all? Currently we enter into perpetual contracts or sentence people to life in prison. What would the world look like without death?
