Pride of Texas Pale Ale – Rahr And Sons 2.2

Our rating: 2.2

In this week’s episode, the Six Pack team cracks open a pack of Pride of Texas Pale Ale by Rahr & Sons Brewing Company in Fort Worth, Texas. We love our Texas beers on Six Pack Philosophy and certainly take a bit of pride in the fact that so many fantastic beers are brewed here. However, calling this bland brew Pride of Texas is a gross misrepresentation of the Texas craft brew scene. Rahr & Sons is usually on point, but this brew scores low on flavor, low on abv, low on mouth-feel, and low on satisfaction.
