What is Shintoism and how does it relate to practices of the west?

It’s not often that we explore religion here on the show, in part because it can be so difficult to get outside your own preconceptions to properly explore another religion and also because discussing religion can become to high charged that the conversation ceases to be productive. However, there is so much cross over between religion and philosophy that we’ve decided to dive in and take our first look at the practice of Shintoism.

MeaningĀ way of the gods, Shinto has stood the test of time, and as we explore we hope to come to see why.
