Ship of Theseus

Discover the essence of thingness with us.

It’s so interesting the difference between the way we speak in our daily lives versus the way we speak philosophically. Were I to ask you in a typical conversation what it is that gives a thing its thingness, you would probably look at me like I was crazy. However, those sorts of questions are commonplace. Perhaps that is why questions such as that in the story of the Ship of Theseus is proposed the way it is. It makes them easier to understand, but no easier to answer.
