Having spent a year and a half studying western philosophy, the Six Pack team has finally opted to give eastern philosophy some face time.
After weeks and weeks of telling each other we should start reaching into eastern philosophy, we finally jumped in feet first to do a little dissection of Taoism. It is easy to laugh when you read the Tao Te Ching and it states that the most useful vessel is empty, but with a little exploration those same seemingly contradictory phrases begin to make a lot of sense. More than that, it’s interesting to see the ways in which eastern philosophy has filtered into our own lexicon and practice without our even realizing it.
