The Crisis In America

A reading and discussion of The Crisis by Thomas Paine

With Independence Day upon us again, the Six Pack team performs a somewhat dramatic reading of Thomas Paine’s The Crisis, in remembrance of the American Colonists who declared their independence from a tyrannical government 240 years ago. We follow that with a discussion of the revolutionary war, what inspired Paine to write it, and what purpose it served in the war. We know this is off our regularly beaten path, but hope you will enjoy. We’ll be back to your regularly scheduled philosophy next week.
