Yessir! – Community Beer Company 2.3

Our rating: 2.3

In this week’s episode, the Six Pack team opened up a pack of Yessir! by Community Beer Company in Dallas, Texas. A seasonal release meant to capture the hopeful crispness of autumn, this pale ale is meant to let the malt play a minor role and let the hops shine through, and shine they do. This brew got mixed reviews across the board while maintaining a general consensus that the hops were too much of a focal point for this brew leaving it more of an IPA feel rather than a traditional pale ale. However, argued on the other side was that the hops in Yessir! were not as crisp as an IPA, landing it in the appropriate pale ale category. Technicalities aside, we all agreed it was a good quality beer which we have come to expect from Community. Hopefully the next time I drive by, I’ll have a chance to actually stop in and say hi.
